Nikki Majors is an American actress and producer who was born on December 4, 1984, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Lee Majors (an actor) and Kathy Ireland (a model). Nikki has one brother named Sean.
Majors started her career as a child actress, appearing in commercials and minor roles in television and film. In 2002, she landed her first major role as a series regular on the hit show “The O.C.”. After “The O.C.” ended, Majors went on to star in the short-lived series “Veronica Mars” and the critically acclaimed FX drama “Justified”.
In 2007, Majors took a step behind the camera and started her own production company called “Majors Company Productions”. In addition to producing projects for film and television, Majors is also writing a screenplay.
Majors currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Matt Shively (lead singer of the band Ryder), whom she married in 2015.
Career in acting, production, and writing
Majors started her career as a child actress and first appeared on the small screen with a guest-starring role on “Six Feet Under”. She then went on to appear in minor roles for various television shows before landing her first major role when she was cast as Julie Connor on “The O.C.”.
After the following season of “The O.C.”, Majors played the daughter of Danny Glover’s character in “Lucky”. She then went on to star in the short-lived series, “Veronica Mars”, and later landed a recurring role on the critically acclaimed FX drama “Justified”.
In 2007, Majors decided to try her hand at producing and founded her own production company called “Majors Company Productions”. Since then, she has produced various projects for film and television. In addition to her work in front of and behind the camera, Majors is also writing a screenplay.
