Nilda Roman Perez is a Puerto Rican politician who has served in the Senate of Puerto Rico since 2019. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Prior to her election to the Senate, she served as a member of the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico from 2009 to 2019. 

Perez was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. She also earned a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
