Everything You Need to Know About Marvel’s Infinity Stones Before You See Avengers: Endgame

Date:

The Tesseract is pursued by Captain Marvel, the Guardians of the Galaxy steal an orb, and Thor attempts to grab Aether. These mystical items may appear to be MacGuffins or plot devices designed to keep the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward. These items, however, are Infinity Stones: a set of gems that bestow great strength on their creator. Check more details here มูเตลู.

Thanos, an evil purple robot, used the force in Avengers: Infinity War to conquer half of the world. Now, in Avengers: Endgame, the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, it’s up to Marvel’s heroes to undo the damage, presumably by moving through time and collecting and crushing all of the Infinity Stones before Thanos could get his eyes on them.

The intricate Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline makes it possible to forget the identities of the Infinity Stones, let alone their abilities or where you may have seen them before. After all, the Marvel Cinematic Universe contains 21 films. In addition, the majority of the Infinity Stones have numerous names.

But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are all the answers to your questions about the Infinity Stones and their role in upcoming Marvel films like Avengers: Endgame.

  • So, what exactly is an Infinity Stone?

Infinity Stones are very powerful crystals that, when combined, can be used to kill humans, planets, planetary panels, and everything else you can think of.

  • What is the total number of Infinity Stones?

The Space Stone (blue), Power Stone (purple), Reality Stone (red), Mind Stone (yellow), Time Stone (green), and Soul Stone are the six Infinity Stones.

  • What happened to the Infinity Stones?

Six singularities formed before the development of the Universe, as explained by Benicio Del Toro’s The Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy. The Big Bang split those entities into six distinct Infinity Stones.

Where else have I seen the Infinity Stones?

This may be perplexing since all of these stones have two different names. Here’s a list of all the Infinity Stone names and the films in which they’ve appeared:

The Mind Stone (Loki’s scepter)

The Space Stone (The Tesseract)

The Reality Stone (Aether)

The Power Stone

The Time Stone (Eye of Agomoto)

The Soul Stone

  • Why do all of these stones come in some container?

You can’t have an Infinity Stone in your possession for too long without dying. Consider what happened to Red Skull. That is why the Time Stone is encased in a necklace, the Mind Stone in a sceptre, the Space Stone in the Tesseract, and so on. To keep all the blocks, Thanos must wear a special golden glove.

  • What is the weird glove?

The Infinity Gauntlet is a kind of gauntlet. It’s essentially a fancy golden glove that can house one of the Infinity Stones. When all of the stones in the Gauntlet are combined, the wearer gains infinite strength.

In the first Thor film, we see the Infinity Gauntlet in Asgard’s treasure space. The glove reappears in a post-credits scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron. After Ultron fails to defeat the Avengers (and humanity), Thanos enters a location that is not the Asgardian treasure room, dons the Infinity Gauntlet, and declares, “Fine, I’ll do it myself.”

In Thor: Ragnarok, the villain Hela strides into the Asgardian treasury, stares at the Infinity Gauntlet, tosses it aside, and calls it “false,” clearing up all mystery about the two Infinity Gauntlets.

  • Why does Thanos try to destroy half of the Universe?

Thanos falls in love with Death (or her actual embodiment) in the comics and gathers the Infinity Stones to kill universes and impress her. Marvel Studios alluded to this plotline in 2012, when a henchman warned Thanos that fighting the Avengers would be like “courting death.” Thanos cracks a smile.

However, the authors of Infinity War must have changed their minds about the villain’s motives after filming the scene. Thanos is worried about the universe’s overpopulation in Infinity War. His solution is to “restore balance” by annihilating half of all living beings. Another appropriate response is “He’s evil.”

  • Why didn’t Thanos get the Infinity Stones himself?

Thanos sent Ronan the Accuser and Loki to collect the Infinity Stones, but both times they returned empty-handed. He appears to be making much more strides by simply hunting down the dang stuff himself. So, I think it’s laziness?

With the Avengers team broken, the year 2018 coincided with the release of Infinity War.

  • Is the Avengers broke up?!?

Jeez, yes. If you didn’t see Captain America: Civil War, you should replay it before Endgame. You can watch it right now on Netflix.

Here’s a short rundown: Captain America and Iron Man disagree about whether the government should oversee superheroes (Iron Man is for and Cap against). But for Hulk and Thor, who are too busy practising their gladiatorial abilities in space, the rest of the Avengers take sides. Things don’t end well, and Iron Man and Captain America are both not speaking. Thanos’ job is made easier by their breakup.

Captain America and Iron Man are yet to form a partnership as of Infinity War. When Thanos first arrived on Earth, Iron Man considered calling Cap but was interrupted by a mission into space to rescue Doctor Strange. Iron Man is now trapped in orbit, while Captain Marvel is marshalling the Avengers’ remaining powers on Earth after the snap.

  • Are the Avengers really dead?

Very probably not. Spider-Man vanished in Infinity War, but a solo sequel film will be released shortly after Endgame. In addition, the rumoured dead Black Panther is working on a new film.

It’s also worth noting that the superheroes who did make it through the purge are all members of the original Avengers team: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. This will most probably be the last time the first squad battles together. They would attempt to reverse Thanos’ death, most likely by using the Quantum Realm to time travel.

  • Is Thanos planning to murder one of the Avengers?

Definitely. Several stars, including Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Scarlett Johansson, have contracts that expire after this film (Black Widow). Evans has been very vocal with his desire to leave the franchise. Hemsworth and Downey have now hinted that they are through.

But there’s good news: Johansson will almost certainly thrive, as Marvel has just hired a writer to write a Black Widow solo film. Actors that are new to the series, such as Tom Holland (Spider-Man),  Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), and Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), are also safe.

To its advantage, Marvel has simply decided to embrace the “Cap or Iron Man is going to bite it” narrative. Some protagonists will float off into the sunset, while others will face a gruesome end, according to Feige. It’s just a matter of whether it happens in Avengers: Endgame or no.
